Whistle Down The Wind was filmed in a number of places in and around Clitheroe in Lancashire, such as Downham, Backup, Clitheroe itself and Burnley.
Interior farmhouse shots were filmed at the Pinewood Studio in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire
The first map shows the location of 'Bostock's Farm' (in reality Worsaw End Farm) in relation to Downham, where a number of street scenes were filmed. The second map shows Downham in closer detail.
